This is such a good idea that I don’t really have any smart-ass comments to add. It’s awesome – we should do it. So, space science people – make it so.
A bold project like this might actually give Americans something real to care about. And, as my 6 regular readers know, I’m pretty sure that revolutionizing energy technology is really one of the last hopes for saving the American economy.
Like it or not, that currently equals saving the global economy.
